    The Clarkston First Baptist Church Family Life Center was the scene of a screening of "Politics of the New South” in the location where it was filmed – in Clarkston, GA. Following a welcome by First Baptist’s First Lady Angela Moore, Maria Hinojosa moderated a panel discussion with Clarkston Mayor Ted Terry; Helen Ho, Founder of The Asian American Legal Advocacy Center; Omar Shekey, President of The Somali American Community Center; and Stephen Bradshaw, Adjunct Professor of Public Policy at Georgia State University. 100 were in attendance, including 6 translators to provide simultaneous translation in Arabic, Somali, Nepali, Burmese, Amharic, and Dinka to ensure that all the residents of Clarkston, called the most diverse square mile in the US, could actively participate.
